Kemko Grout products feature a wide selection of semi-rigid epoxies and polyureas for filling control joints. These semi-rigid products are designed to: resist difficult environments, absorb heavy wheel loads, protect joint corners, prevent contamination of shrinkage cracks and maintain esthetics. These products may also function as insulators for filling sawcuts after the insertion of wiring for induction loops, traffic signals, and airport runway lighting. Polyurea and epoxy selection factors include the impact loads, temperature ranges, substrate shrinkage, temperature cycling movement, presence of moisture, and sawcut or joint preparation. Viscosities range from self-leveling liquids to non-sag pastes.
Kemko Grouts also include warm and cold weather segmental bonding pastes. Designed for critical load bearing applications, these products feature high heat deflection temperatures (HDTs) and exhibit excellent wet and damp substrate bonds. Capable of supporting sustained loads, including seismic reinforcement and bolt grouting, the 040/041 products are our highest performance pastes.
